Drop It Like It’s Hot at City’s Drive & Drop Community Cleanup

Each year, the City of Gillette Public Works Department hosts an annual Drive & Drop Community Cleanup.

This year, over the course of three Saturdays, April 20, 27, and May 4, three locations will be open to receive your garbage waste from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Drive & Drop locations include:

  • Sage Valley Jr. High School, 1000 W. Lakeway Rd.
  • City West, 611 Exchange Ave.
  • Dalbey Memorial Park, Little League Field Parking Lot

At each drop site, you’ll find three separate containers for your trash, metal, and demolition materials. But if you’re not sure where to put what, don’t fret. City crews will be on hand at each location to assist you.

This service is not provided to commercial businesses and our City crews will not accept any building or construction debris. (So, don’t bring those please!)

For more information, contact the Streets Division at (307) 686-5278, or visit the City website at gillettewy.gov.
