Pet of the Week: Mojito
Say hi to Mojito, this week’s Red Hills Pet of the Week. This cool cat came to There’s No Place Like Home No Kill Animal Rescue in December to be fostered while his owner found a new place to live.
Rescue owner Betsy Nowack said although she’s not exactly sure what happened, she knows Mojito is ready for his “fur-ever” home.
Mojito, an approximately 2-year-old male, is healthy, has been neutered, and is up to date on vaccinations.
Betsy said since coming to the rescue, he’s gotten along with the other cats, isn’t scared of dogs, and he loves kitty treats and canned food.
“He’s very sweet and would make a great addition to any family,” she added.
While handing out treats to the other cats at the rescue, Mojito meows and makes sure Betsy doesn’t skip over him on the treat rounds.
She describes him as chill since he hangs out mostly on his own. However, he also likes to play with toys. Betsy said a family with kids would be a fine match.
Mojito is definitely not a high maintenance, in-your-face, needy cat. After three months as a foster, he’s ready for his last move to a new home.
To meet Mojito or any of the other cats at There’s No Place Like Home, visit their Facebook page and drop Betsy a message.
