All Campbell County Government are closed.
The City of Gillette has declared a Level 2 Snow Emergency. All non-essential city personnel have been released from duty. However, it does not result in the closure of City facilities. Level 2 also re-emphasizes the need to remove vehicles from emergency snow routes and provides for the ticketing and, if necessary, the towing of vehicles.
Municipal Court and City Solid Waste services have both been cancelled for Thursday, March 14. City Solid Waste crews will plan on running a double route on Friday, March 15.
Campbell County Schools – early release.
YES House School – no after school programs.
Moorcroft K-8 – early release today and delayed start tomorrow, March 14.
Boys and Girls Club of Campbell County.
1st Interstate Bank – all locations closed.
Aspiring Counseling is closed, including groups.
Gillette Babe Ruth Tryouts scheduled for tonight have been postponed.
Meadowlark Counseling closed for the remainder of the day.
The Rec Centers in Gillette and Wright plan to open at 8 a.m. Thursday, March 14.
Campbell County Airport Director Jay Lundell has made the decision to close the airport completely. All runways are now closed to general aviation and commercial air traffic. Estimated reopening time is currently unknown.
WYDOT is reporting black ice and advising no unnecessary travel on Highway 59 between Wright and Gillette. Highway 59 is closed between the Campbell/Converse county line and Douglas.
Interstate 25 is closed from Buffalo all the way south to the Colorado state line.
