It’s getting cold out there. Really cold. Is cabin fever setting in? For some, fully embracing the winter season in this great state can be a challenge.
From November to April, the Bighorn Mountains offer hundreds of miles of groomed trails for snowmobilers with peak season taking place right now! Within a few hours’ drive you can be riding above Buffalo or Sheridan celebrating winter like a true Wyomingite—on a mountain top. The Bighorns offer something for all level of riders. Stick to the trails or high-mark and side-hill in fresh powder for days. With riders coming in from all over the region and out-of-state, we’re fortunate to have such great sledding conditions so close.
If you’re new to the sport, don’t forget Wyoming law requires that all snowmobiles have either a resident or nonresident user fee decal adhered to the machine.
Are you ready to catch that feeling you’ve been chasing and explore new terrain? The professionals at The Bank of Gillette offer local lending to hook you up with a snowmobile or a truck and trailer to haul it and get you out on the snow tomorrow!
