Hospital Announces new Chief Operating Officer
Colleen Heeter stepped into the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Campbell County Health Friday, Feb. 1.
“I am thrilled to have Colleen join us in this new capacity,” said CCH Chief Executive Officer Andy Fitzgerald, in a press release Friday. “I am confident, with her clinical and operational background, she is going to help us improve as an organization.”
As COO, Heeter will be second in command, reporting directly to Fitzgerald. According to the release, the position was designed to help the focus the organization on clinical and financial outcomes.
Before taking over as COO, Heeter had been serving as the Interim Director of the Powder River Surgery Center. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing degree from Creighton University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and has also held several executive level positions throughout the Midwest.
“I am delighted to join the Campbell County Health team,” said Heeter. “With the CCH history of patient-centered care and high-quality service delivery, I am confident that together we can put forward the quadruple aim of high quality outcomes, affordable healthcare, outstanding patient experience, and satisfied staff and providers.”
Heeter will have operating oversight over most clinical areas of the organization.
