Time is running out to get rid of your old Christmas tree. The free disposal site is still open at the Gillette College Tech Center, but only until Monday, Jan. 28.
The City of Gillette reminds citizens to please remove all decorations before dropping off your tree. This is only for real trees, no artificial trees can be dropped off.
The City of Gillette Forestry Division will run the trees through a chipper so they can be used as mulch in the Community Gardens.
The free Christmas tree drop off site is sponsored by the City of Gillette, Gillette College, and the Campbell County Master Gardeners.
