A memorial service for Cindy Loveday will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, at First Assembly of God with Josh Davies officiating.
Cynthia “Cindy” Susan Loveday, 58, passed away of heart failure on Jan. 16, 2019, at her home in Gillette, Wyoming.
Cindy was born on July 2, 1960, to Joe Filimon Vigil and Darlene Louise Stickney in Gillette, Wyoming, where she resided until her passing. She attended schools in Campbell County before receiving her GED from Gillette College on Dec. 15, 1993.
On June 14, 1980, Cindy married Jay Dee Loveday and together they welcomed three children: Jay Jr., 36, Tamera, 34, and Zachary, 20. Cindy was a friend to many and would visit with almost everyone she met. She could visit for hours about anything and everything, and she got that from her dad. She always had a smile on her face and was quick to lend a hand to anyone in need. She loved to travel with her parents, often times ending up in Deadwood.
She loved to listen to Garth Brooks and collect anything Mickey Mouse, but her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, especially her kids and grandkids. She loved to watch them play sports and dance and was always excited to see them perform in plays at the Cam-Plex.
Throughout the years, Cindy made an impact and touched many lives. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Jay Dee Loveday Sr.; sons, Jay Jr. (Mandy) Loveday; Zachary (Kindra) Loveday both of Gillette; daughter, Tamera Loveday of Walla Walla, Washington; grandchildren, Tashanda Loveday; Mackenzie Loveday; Gabrial Loveday; Gwendelyn Loveday; and Molly “Moon” Jessup; brothers, David (Mary) Vigil; James “Jim”(Elise) Vigil; sister, Mary Toland all of Gillette; five nieces; four nephews; and 15 great-nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by her very good friend Harold “Hal” Eustler.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Darlene Vigil; her mother and father in-law, John and Doris Loveday and many aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that due to financial hardships that memorials and donations be made in Cindy’s name to Gillette Memorial Chapel 210 West Fifth Street, Gillette, Wyoming, 82716, to help with funeral costs. Condolences may also be expressed at www.gillettememorialchapel.com
