New Year, New License
Now that the New Year is in full swing, the City of Gillette wants to remind all pet owners that it’s time to get your pet’s new license.
All dogs and cats over 3-months-old must have a City license, which needs to be renewed annually. The licensing process is simple. Bring in current proof of rabies vaccination to the City County Animal Shelter at 950 W. Warlow Drive. The cost is $3 for altered (spayed/neutered) animals or $20 for unaltered animals.
Pet owners who don’t license their pets are subject to a fine of $85 per violation, per animal.
If you have any questions, Call the Animal Shelter at (307) 686-5249.
