Governor Gordon’s First State of the State to be Live Streamed
New Governor Mark Gordon stands with his family behind the podium his son Spencer made for his inauguration.
It’s already been quite a busy week for Governor Mark Gordon, with his inauguration, the beginning of the general session, and tomorrow, Jan. 9, he’ll deliver his first State of the State address.
“Communication and transparency are cornerstones of any effective administration,” said Governor Gordon, in a press release. “As Governor, I plan to use my platform to celebrate Wyoming and to communicate directly with Wyoming citizens and listen and engage on issues that matter most to them – from education to jobs and energy, and everything in between.”
Gordon is expected to outline his priorities for this current legislative session, as well as his broader vision for Wyoming for the next four years.
The Governor’s State of the State will be followed by the State of the Judiciary message delivered by Wyoming Supreme Court Chief Justice Michael K. Davis. Both speeches will also be live streamed on the Wyoming Legislature’s homepage.
