Aggressors Kick in Door, Steals Keys and Vehicle, Police Say
Police continue their search for a 1994 Eagle Vision, which was allegedly taken by two individuals last night from the Arrowhead Motel after they kicked in a door and started a fight.
Police Lt. Brent Wasson said this morning that the incident was reported around 9:30 p.m. by a 20-year-old male, who advised that a 19-year-old male and another 20-year-old male kicked in the door to his motel room.
The two aggressors reportedly started a fight with a 26-year-old male, who was also in the room at the time, took the keys to the Eagle, and drove off in it.
Wasson said that officers received conflicting stories from the 26-year-old male and the 20-year-old reporting party and that it is unclear as to whom the vehicle actually belongs.
Officers were able to determine that all four of the males were in the motel room when the fight broke out and, Wasson said, it is suspected that drugs may be involved.
The 26-year-old male was arrested on a North Dakota warrant for violating conditions of release on an original charge for possessing methamphetamine.
Officers conducted a search incident to the 26-year-old’s arrest and seized 1 gram of suspected marijuana as well as empty syringes.
The aggressors in the Eagle have not been contacted as of this morning.
