Pet of the Week: Nate
This week’s Red Hills Pet of the Week is Nate, who’s current home is There’s No Place Like Home No Kill Animal Rescue.
Nate came to Betsy Nowack’s rescue two years ago as a stray. He was adopted once, but came back to the rescue when his owner had to move.
Betsy said that Nate is friendly and affectionate and has already been fixed. Recently, another male cat at the rescue has singled Nate out and began bullying him. For that reason, Nate’s been sequestered in a room of his own to keep him safe.
Nate’s favorite pastime is laying in a sunny open window watching birds. He loves treats and does get along well with other cats, excluding the bully mentioned before. According to Betsy, Nate is great with kids and tolerates dogs. He just tends to stay out of their way.
Nate deserves a stable, loving home where he’s not bullied.
