A memorial service for Nancy Haro will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 900 Butler Spaeth Rd. in Gillette, Wyoming. Family, friends, and others whose lives Nancy touched are invited to reminisce, grieve, and support.
Nancy Kaye Haro, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, at Campbell County Memorial Hospital from a pulmonary embolism.
Nancy was born on April 20, 1951, in Port Arthur, Texas, to Rita and Francisco “Frank” Salazar. She was in the first graduating class from Katella High School in 1969.
She worked as a bilingual testing clerk (ESL) with Garden Grove School District, displaying the capability to assist others in more than one language. She was a proud breast cancer survivor.
Nancy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, indulging in cinematic film, playing a few rounds of Bingo, and watching her daily dose of game shows. Nancy had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She was a devoted member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church.
Nancy is survived by her son, Alejandro “Alex”; daughter, Jessica; sister, Joann; and brothers, David and Inocente.
