This week’s Pet of the Week is a two-fer. Meet Denver (left) and Breckenridge (right), who have been at the Rest Easy My Friend Canine Rescue and Sanctuary for around two months.
According to rescue owner Carolyn Sears, these two dogs are a package deal. They came from a shelter in Pueblo, Colorado, where they were on the euthanasia list. Someone on Facebook tagged Sears in the post and that began their journey to northeast Wyoming. A network of volunteers coordinated Denver and Breck’s transport to their new foster home.
These doggies are estimated to be between eight and 10 years old. Both are neutered and current on all vaccinations. The boys are incredibly cuddly and described as amazing lap dogs. Denver is pretty mellow and laid back, while Breck is a little more outgoing.
Sears says they are great with other dogs and cats, and also love children of all ages.
Rest Easy My Friend was created to rescue senior and special needs dogs from euthanasia so they could spend the rest of their days with the love and care they deserve. Look them up online or on Facebook. To make arrangements to meet this dynamic duo, call (307) 363-3420.
