Time Capsule Celebration Postponed
To celebrate their 20th anniversary, the Visitation and Advocacy Center for the Sixth Judicial District will be burying a time capsule to only be opened in another 20 years. The afternoon of fun and festivities is free and open to everyone.
The haunted open house is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 18, starting at 2 p.m. with the burying of the time-capsule and the haunted house will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. The haunted house will be kid friendly, but there is an additional spooky room, reserved only for the truly brave.
Over the last two decades, the Visitation and Advocacy Center, and its army of volunteers, has helped abused and neglected children navigate the judicial and social service systems they find themselves in, through no fault of their own. Trained volunteers are appointed by judges to provide a voice for the children they represent and act in the best interest of that child.
So far in 2018, the Wyoming CASA Network has helped 1,052 children throughout the state of Wyoming.
