Hi, I’m Micky Shober.
I have a passion to serve this community and to help it become stronger. I have the time, knowledge and experience, along with the integrity and the courage to do the right thing for the people of Campbell County. Additionally, I have fostered and maintained working relationships with state and federal entities whose work directly affects life in Campbell County, particularly in areas where Campbell County had no prior voice. These relationships have taken years to develop.
In my opinion, the three most pressing issues facing Campbell County are:
Developing a sustainable economy, i.e. providing a friendly atmosphere for new companies and industries in Campbell County and encouraging expansion of coal byproducts.
Fiscal responsibility and constant improvement of county government to provide good service to the community while improving processes and procedures, i.e. doing more with less.
Addressing road impacts through belt roads, dust control and paving.
I have a proven history of keeping informed and on top of relevant issues by listening to constituents and seeking their input, reading and studying all relevant material, statutes, and past solutions, and constantly challenging myself to bring forth the best, most viable solutions to the challenges facing our county.
I go the extra mile (literally) to attend state interim legislative committee, BLM, and Forest Service meetings across Wyoming because I feel it’s critical that Campbell County has a voice.
I have a passion for helping Campbell County grow as a healthy and prosperous community for our families!
