Senior Center Hosts Candidate Forum

Eggs & Issues Legislative Breakfast

(Gillette, Wyo.) The Campbell County Senior Center Board of Directors is hosting a series of candidate forums in advance of the August 21 primary election. The first forum is scheduled for today, July 10, at 12:45 p.m. and will feature candidates running for state legislature.

Committee Chair Donna Mankin said the only two candidates who are unable to attend today’s candidate forum are Rep. Scott Clem (R-H31) and Rep. Tim Hallinan (R-H32), who are both attending the legislature’s Opioid Addiction Task Force meeting in Riverton.

Each forum will feature a different group of candidates who will answer questions from the Senior Center Election Forum Committee. The formal forum is scheduled from 12:45 to 2:15 p.m., followed by an ice cream social to ask candidates about any issues voters have that were not previously addressed.
