Another Arrest Made in Juvenile Assault Case
(Gillette, Wyo.) Investigators have arrested Sara Cage, 39, alleging her involvement with a juvenile assault case in which a 16-year-old male was reportedly beaten and threatened with a hand gun.
The original incident allegedly occurred on Saturday, April 14, after Adam Keuck, 38, heard rumors that his 14-year-old daughter was possibly engaging in consensual sexual intercourse with an older male, according to the affidavit of probable cause.
When Keuck, Cage, and another unidentified adult male responded to the residence, they discovered the 14-year-old female and a 16-year-old male in an upstairs bedroom. Reportedly, all three adults entered the residence without permission.
The juvenile male was discovered hiding in a closet, after which he was allegedly assaulted by Keuck, Cage, and the unidentified male. The affidavit states that, at some point during the assault, Keuck pulled a hand gun from a holster, pulled back the slide, and pointed it at the juvenile’s face.
During the course of the investigation, Cage denied being in the upstairs bedroom by informing investigators that when she started for the stairs, the 14-year-old female came down them and Cage proceeded to take her outside. She denied hitting and kicking the juvenile male, saying that she left the residence immediately with the 14-year-old female.
Several witness statements placed Cage at the scene and actively participating in the assault of the juvenile male. Cage was accused of standing on the bed and stomping on and kicking at the juvenile male.
Other witness statements confirm Cage’s side of the story, that she did not walk upstairs and she did not assault the 16-year-old male.
Cage was arrested on Thursday, May 10, and is charged with felony unlawful entry with battery and two counts of misdemeanor battery.
