City Celebrates Arbor Day Friday, April 27

The City of Gillette will be hosting its annual Arbor Day Celebration from 9 to 11 a.m. on Arbor Day, Friday, April 27, at the Dalbey Park Veteran Memorial Shelter.

The Forestry and Parks Divisions, along with area veterans, state, county, and school district arborists will plant five trees, one for each major military branch.

The event is open to everyone, but the City would like to extend the warmest of invitations to area veterans.

Arbor Day 2018 marks the 26th year that the City of Gillette has achieved Tree City USA designation from the Arbor Day Foundation.

Thanks to Cloud Peak Energy, PS Services, and G&G Landscape Inc. for sponsoring this event.
