(Gillette, Wyo.) The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will be hosting their 2018 Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Workshop July 6-8, at the Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp southeast of Dubois, Wyoming.
The workshop is targeted toward women 18 and older who have an interest in learning outdoor skills, including ones often related to hunting and fishing. The three-day seminar provides a chance to partake in four classes out of a large variety of skill courses, including: Archery Marksmanship, Backpacking, Basic Fly-Fishing, Canoeing, Dutch-Oven Cooking, Introduction to Firearms, Map and Compass, Wildlife Viewing and Backyard Habitats, and many more.
Interested? The deadline is fast approaching as all registrations must be mailed and post-marked by Monday, April 16 to be considered.
Only 45 women will be accepted to participate, chosen by random draw. Applicants will be notified by May 15 of their participation status, and unsuccessful applicants will have their registration checks returned to them.
