County to Host Penny Power Listening Session on Sunday

Optional One Percent Listening Session Campbell County Senior Center

(Gillette, Wyo.) Campbell County will be hosting a Penny Power Listening Session at the Campbell County Public Library at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 8, in the Wyoming Room.

The sessions provide information on how the tax is spent and give the public an opportunity to comment on the tax.

This Sunday’s session will be the fourth listening session. The City of Gillette hosted one in February. The city hosted a second at the Campbell County Senior Center in March, and the county hosted another in the Commission Chambers later the same month.

The city’s listening sessions are also archived on the Gillette Public Access website. The Feb. 27 session can be viewed here, and the March 8 session can be viewed here.

Sunday’s session will not be televised live due to the lack of transmission capabilities at the library, but it will be posted on the GPA website on Tuesday.

These meetings are free and open to the public.
