(Gillette, Wyo.) This week the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality announced the Emission Reduction Pilot Program. State and Local government entities, schools and industries that have older diesel equipment and vehicles can apply for the first phase of the program.
“This is the first of many exciting funding opportunities where we can work together to reduce emissions in Wyoming,” said Brian Hall, Outreach Manager for DEQ.
The Emission Reduction Pilot Program is being funded by the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act, Pinedale Anticline Project Office and Volkswagen Settlement funds. Application deadline for the first phase is Jan. 26., and the funds must be used by Jun. 30, 2018.
