City Now Accepting Applications for Ward 1 Council Seat

(Gillette, Wyo.) The City of Gillette has announced that applications to fill the vacant council seat, left behind by the resignation of Kevin McGrath, will be accepted beginning Monday, Nov. 20.

The city will be accepting applications until Friday, Dec. 1, at 4 p.m.

On Friday, Dec. 12th, at 6 p.m., the council will be conducting interviews in the 2nd Floor Community Room at City Hall with the appointment being made on Tuesday, Dec. 19, during the regular city council meeting.

Applicants must be at least 18-years-old and reside within Ward 1 in order to be considered eligible.

The successful applicant will serve until a successor is elected during the next municipal election.

Residents interested in applying can attain an application at the City Administration or the City Clerk’s office, located in City Hall. Applicants may also access an online version of the application by going to the City of Gillette’s website.
