First Birthday Sale at Tin Wagon, LLC
(Gillette, Wyo.) Meet Tin Wagon, Gillette’s one-of-a-kind Western Flair retail store! With a few touches of Bohemian, and Contemporary influences in stylistic taste, Tin Wagon offers a uniquely quaint and cozy atmosphere in which to outfit your perfect wardrobe. They opened July 30 of last year and, in celebration of their first birthday, are hosting an online and store-wide sale!
From their stylish little booties and sandals, to their genuine leather purses, scrumptious car scents, vintage-inspired graphic tees, and statement jewelry made by talented regional artisans…. you’re sure to find something beautiful that’ll make you feel adventurous!
Many of Tin Wagon’s fine featured products are local brands and creations, too. Kaylee Phillips, the store’s proprietor, visionary fashionista and resident stylist, even created her own line of Heritage Belts (pictured above with ombre denim shirt), available at the Wagon.
Kaylee belts have conches in which she places old-fashioned photos depicting images of history, family, nature, and the like. She grew up traveling the country to watch her dad rodeo, and says she fell in love with the lifestyle and its ability to stay true throughout multiple generations, creating an intangible heritage of ranch and rodeo history.
From her life experiences, Kaylee grew an appreciation of and desire to contribute to the rodeo culture that in many ways she revered as her home-away-from-home throughout the travels of her youth. By her teenage years, she knew that she wanted to create wearable art that paid homage to the heritage of its wearer. She’s been making custom belts ever since, and selling them at Tin Wagon for almost a year now.

What’s more to love about this lovely boutique? They have their very own line of graphic tees! Kassandra Garrett, Kaylee’s sister, is the store’s graphic designer. She creates all-original designs and tees that offer a vintage look to your wardrobe. Currently, the Tin Wagon line of graphic tees is exclusively sold at Tin Wagon, although they hope to expand their selection throughout the region in the near future. Garrett is also the creator of the store’s super-cute logo.
Not sure if Western Flair is quite your style? Not a problem. The boutique’s mantra is “Don’t Change to Fit the FASHION, change the fashion to fit YOU!” Phillips is very hands-on with her guests. She says that she loves helping women to shop for outfits that are fitting and flattering, as well as building relationships with them through the process.
