3 out of 44 Businesses Failed Alcohol Compliance Checks

(Gillette, Wyo.) According to the Gillette Police Department, in the last couple of weeks, the police department completed 44 alcohol compliance checks.

Three businesses out of 44 failed the alcohol compliance checks by selling alcohol to a minor. The checks involve the police department sending in a decoy to try and buy alcohol from the businesses with a liquor license. The police department is making sure businesses and their employees are asking for identification. Those that fail to check for identification are contacted and cited.

The three businesses that failed by not checking identification and providing alcohol to the decoy are as follows:

Applebee’s- A 26-year-old male provided a Bud Light Lime.

Gillette Brewing Company- A 51-year-old male provided a Redd’s Apple Ale.

The Other Side Bar & Grill- A 39-year-old female sold a 6-pack of Bud Light.
