(Gillette, Wyo.) City of Gillette’s annual Drive and Drop Spring Clean Up Event will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the next three Saturdays. The first Drive and Drop will be this Saturday, April 22nd and the following dates will be Saturday, April 29th and May 6th, with the same locations listed below.
Geno Palazzari, Communications Manager with the City of Gillette stated, “We encourage people to take advantage of the opportunity to dispose of unwanted items at one of the three locations that we have, on the three Saturdays.
There will be 4 bins available for your disposal of Municipal Solid Waste, Demolition, Metals, and Yard Waste at each location. Electronics will be excepted in the Municipal Solid Waste bin.
Locations include:
- Sage Valley Junior High in the Northeast parking lot at 1000 W. Lakeway Road
- Energy Capital Sports Complex near the main parking lot at 3400 S. Garner Lake Road
- City of Gillette Old Electrical Shop at 940 W. Warlow Drive
Please be advised that this event will not accept glass, paints, hazardous chemical, tires, auto parts, items that contain gas or oil, shingles, concrete, refrigerators, freezers, or air conditioners. The Campbell County Landfill will take these items for a fee and are open on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
