(Gillette, Wyo) The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation is reporting that on April 14th around 12:45 pm, 25 year old Juan Bautista of Gillette was arrested by the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, DCI, and the Gillette Police Department for felony possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
Bautista, who was under DCI surveillance for the suspicion of dealing meth, was stopped for a speeding by GPD. A K9 unit indicated his vehicle may contain a controlled substance. Agents and officers searched Bautista’s vehicle and allegedly found 16.5 ounces of suspected methamphetamine inside a black bag.
Following Bautista’s arrest officers obtained a search warrant for Bautista’s home and found an additional 7.5 ounces of suspected methamphetamine.
Bautista appeared in Campbell County Circuit Court and his bond was set at $20,000.
